ai-smallresources
Many small gameplay features, each behind its own panel switch, plus teleports, elevators, seats, moorings and Discord Rich Presence.
ai-smallresources collects the small features most servers want: a seatbelt, cruise control, crouching, pointing, hands up, sitting on benches, carrying players, small items, GTA world tweaks, population density, teleports, elevators and Discord Rich Presence. Every feature has its own switch in the panel, so you turn off what another script already does.
What it does in the game
Driving
- Seatbelt (K): a buckled player cannot leave the vehicle and survives faster crashes. Without the belt, a crash above the panel's speed throws the driver through the windscreen. HUDs show the belt state.
- Cruise control (Y): holds the current speed as the vehicle's top speed until pressed again.
- No seat shuffle, no vehicle radio, no mouse steering for land vehicles and boats, no steering in the air (a jump lands the way it took off).
- Fake plate item (
fakeplate): fits a random plate on a vehicle you have the keys to (a 6 second bar facing the vehicle); using it again puts the real plate back. Garages keep the real plate. - Boat rope: on foot next to a boat within 12 m of a mooring (Moorings tab), Tie the boat to the dock freezes it so it cannot drift or be driven off; Untie the boat frees it.
Player
- Crouch (Left Ctrl), Point with finger (B, everyone sees it), Hands up (X, also in a vehicle), Fall over (hold M on foot).
- Sit on objects: chairs, benches and stools from the Seats tab (364 models come ready) get a Sit down prompt; X stands up. With a target script running, the seats use the target eye instead of a prompt.
- Carry players: the radial menu's Carry item picks up the nearest player over the shoulder, or puts them down. A downed or cuffed player is picked up at once; anyone else is asked first (10 seconds to answer). After a refusal you wait 30 seconds before asking again.
- Tackle (G while sprinting): knocks down the player right in front.
- Block corner peeking, sprint indoors, no automatic helmet, hats stay on, no idle camera, AFK kick after the panel's minutes (admins are never kicked).
Combat
- No combat stance after a fight, no pistol whip, no blind peeking from cover, optional no one shot headshots, no bunny hopping, no GTA pickups, no weapons from vehicles.
Items
binoculars: a zoom camera (mouse wheel zooms, Backspace puts them away).firework1tofirework4: placed on the ground (3 second bar), they go off after 5 seconds; players within 400 m see them.notepad: writes a page that becomes anoteitem; using the note shows its text (the inventory tooltip shows it too).newscam, newsmic, newsboom: the news crew props, held in the hand and seen by everyone. With the camera, H switches to the news camera view.diving_gear: puts an air tank and mask on or takes them off; while worn the player breathes underwater until the tank is empty.diving_fillrefills the tank. Air is kept per character and spent only underwater.
World and population
- No GTA wanted level or AI police, no GTA police and emergency vehicles or NPCs, areas without GTA-parked vehicles (hospitals, police stations, the prison, bases), no GTA planes, no police radio, quiet city sounds, hidden GTA HUD parts, no garbage trucks.
- Pedestrian, scenario people, traffic and parked car density in percent.
Places
- Teleports: a prompt at both ends (Go: ...) takes the player to the other end. Two come ready (Weazel News office, Coke processing).
- Elevators: a prompt on every floor (...: choose a floor) lists the others. One comes ready (Humane Labs).
Discord Rich Presence: your application's name, pictures, two text lines with live placeholders and up to two link buttons on every player's Discord profile.
Installation
Installed by the AI Core recipe. By hand: ensure ai-smallresources after ai-core.
The items must exist in your inventory's item list: binoculars, firework1, firework2, firework3, firework4, newscam, newsmic, newsboom, fakeplate, notepad, note, diving_gear, diving_fill (ai-inventory has them).

| Boat rope | On foot next to a boat near a mooring (Moorings tab), the player ties it so it cannot drift or be driven off, and unties it again. | on / off | on |
| No mouse steering | Cars, bikes and boats cannot be steered with the mouse. Planes and helicopters still can. | on / off | on |
| No steering in the air | A car or bike in the air cannot be tilted or rolled with the keys, so a jump lands the way it took off. | on / off | on |

| Setting | What it changes | Unit | Default |

| Crouch | Left Ctrl toggles a crouched walk. | on / off | on |
| No GTA stealth walk | Left Ctrl no longer starts GTA's sneaking walk, so it only crouches. | on / off | on |
| Point with finger | B points where the camera looks; everyone sees it. Ends when the player aims, falls or fights. | on / off | on |

| Sit on objects | Chairs, benches and stools from the Seats tab get a Sit down prompt. | on / off | on |

| No automatic helmet | Getting on a motorbike or into an aircraft does not put a helmet on by itself. | on / off | on |
| Hats stay on | Hats, glasses and helmets do not fall off when the player is hit or pushed. | on / off | on |
| No idle camera | The camera does not start circling round a player who stands still, on foot or as a passenger. | on / off | on |
| AFK kick | Players who do not move for this long are kicked (admins never). 0 turns it off. 0-600. | min | 20 |
Combat
How fights and weapons feel.
| Setting | What it changes | Default |
|---|---|---|
| No combat stance | After a punch or a shot the player walks normally again at once instead of staying in GTA's hunched combat walk. | on |

| No blind peeking from cover | A player in cover cannot lean out to look without aiming. | on |
| No one shot headshots | A headshot on a player does the same damage as a body shot. | off |
| No bunny hopping | A second jump within 5 seconds makes the player trip and fall. | on |

Turning Rich Presence off gives FiveM's own presence back, but only if ai-smallresources set it. Another presence script running beside it is never overwritten.
Commands
None.
Keybinds
Players change these in GTA's key settings (FiveM section); the owner changes the defaults in the admin panel (Keybinds). A key does nothing while its feature is switched off.
| Default key | What it does |
|---|---|
| K | Seatbelt |
| Y | Cruise control |
| Left Ctrl | Crouch |
| B | Point with your finger |
| X | Hands up |
| M (hold) | Fall over (on foot) |
| G | Tackle while sprinting |
| X | Stand up from a seat |
| H | News camera view (while holding the camera) |
| Backspace | Put the binoculars away |
| Mouse wheel up / down | Binoculars: zoom in / zoom out |
Other scripts
- Emotes: when tgiann-emotes, codem-emotemenu, rpemotes or 0r-animmenu runs, its hands up and pointing win and ai-smallresources' gesture keys stay off. AI Core's gestures layer answers other scripts from whichever runs.
- Seat belt: a HUD with its own seat belt (tgiann-lumihud, tgiann-hudv2, tgiann-modern-hud) or qbx_seatbelt is read first by AI Core's seat belt layer; turn the Seatbelt switch off when you use one of them.
Known limits
- Hands up never starts over another script's animation (handcuffs, a surrender), and ends when that animation is replaced.
- Areas without parked vehicles empty every GTA-parked car in the box, not only emergency ones: keep the sizes small.
- Taking the
diving_gearitem away while it is worn does not take the gear off (as in Qbox). A restart or character switch does. - Fireworks cannot be placed from a vehicle.
