ai-cityhall
The city hall counter with a job center for public jobs and documents (ID card, driver license) that players show to each other.
ai-cityhall runs the city hall counter. In the job center players take a public job (taxi, trucker, garbage...) at its start grade. At the documents desk they buy an ID card or a driver license. Using a document shows the card, with the holder's photo, on the screen of everyone standing next to them.
What it does in the game
- Counter. Walk to a city hall counter and open the menu (ai-lib's menu): Job center and Documents.
- Job center. Lists the panel's public jobs with their names from ai-core. Picking one sets the player's job at the panel's grade. Jobs that do not exist in ai-core are skipped.
- Documents. Buy a document item for its price, paid from the panel's accounts in order. The item carries the holder's first and last name, birth date, sex, nationality and citizen id.
- Showing a document. Using the item plays a short showing animation and puts the card on the screen of everyone within 3 m, the holder included, for the panel's time. You keep the item. The photo is the holder's face, made live on each viewer's game; a card shown by someone who is not its holder has no photo.
Installation
Installed by the AI Core recipe. By hand: ensure ai-cityhall after ensure ai-core. It needs ai-core.
The documents are the items id_card and driver_license (ai-inventory has them in its default item list). With another inventory, add these items as unique (not stackable) items. A document item added in the panel works at once.

Commands
None.
Keybinds
None. The counter uses ai-core's Interaction style (prompt with E, or a target option).
What it stands in for
No fxProvide. It does the work of qb-cityhall (the default job list is qb-cityhall's) and qbx_idcard (the document item fields are qbx_idcard's), without their exports or events.
Known limits
- A document removed from the panel stays registered as a usable item until the next restart; using it does nothing.
- Qbox's stored mugshot image is not used: the photo is made live from the holder's face.
- Log channel:
